About GCOI Fellowship:
The GCOI Fellowship in Oral Implantology is a prestigious certification program designed to recognize dental professionals who have demonstrated exceptional knowledge, skills, and commitment to advancing the field of oral implantology. This certification ensures that individuals have met rigorous educational and experiential requirements, contributing to their proficiency in implant dentistry.
Fee: 300 Euros
● Attend a Live Patient course.
● Obtain 30 hours of course credits from GCOI affiliated centres of excellence or other approved dental implant courses.
● Submit the completed CE forms, along with a copy of the certificate of completion for the Live Patient course and other relevant courses.
● Provide any additional documentation confirming the completion of the required course hours.
● Option 1: Submit documentation for 20 completed implant cases, including detailed outlines and photos (digital or panoramic).
● Option 2: Attend GCOI affiliated centres of excellence Live Patient program, and the requirement for case submissions will be waived.
Provide two letters of recommendation from current International Dental Implant Association Diplomates.
Author or co-author an article or case report on implant dentistry.
Practice implant dentistry for a minimum of 2 years.
● Attend the Annual Symposium induction ceremony.
● Attend the annual symposium within 2 years of starting the Fellowship process.
Obtain an additional 30 hours of implant-related continuing education.
Submit 20 completed implant cases (if not already submitted).
Certification Title: Mastership in Oral Implantology
About GCOI Mastership:
The GCOI Mastership in Oral Implantology is a prestigious certification program designed to recognize dental professionals who have demonstrated exceptional knowledge, skills, and commitment to advancing the field of oral implantology. This exam based certification ensures that individuals have met rigorous educational and experiential requirements, contributing to their upper crest proficiency in implant dentistry.
Fee: 450 Euros
Provide completed Continuing Education (CE) forms for each course attended.
Include a copy of the certificate of completion for each course.
Submit any additional documentation verifying the completion of the required 250 hours.
Include 20 cases of comprehensive documentation, outlining each case and providing photos.
Successfully pass oral examination for Mastership.
Obtain a letter of recommendation from a current GCOI Diplomate or Board member.
Provide an up-to-date curriculum vitae detailing educational and professional achievements.
Demonstrate a minimum of three years of active practice in implant dentistry.
Participate in the Annual Symposium induction ceremony hosted by the GCOI.
Certification Title: Diplomate in Oral Implantology
About GCOI Diplomate:
The GCOI Diplomate in Oral Implantology is a highest level board certification program designed to recognize dental professionals who have demonstrated exceptional knowledge, skills, and commitment to advancing the field of oral implantology. This exam based certification ensures that individuals have met rigorous educational and experiential requirements, contributing to their top notch achievements in implant dentistry.
Fee: 1100 Euros
● Each applicant must document a minimum of 100 implant cases as a General Practitioner.
● 10 Cases should be performed under supervision, and each case will be awarded 10 points.
● Earn 100 CE hours by completing the entire series of Advanced Modules from Affiliated courses
● Specialists are required to document a minimum of 25 implant cases.
● Similar to the General Practitioner, each case will be awarded 10 points if performed under supervision.
● Earn 20 CE hours by completing the Online Review module
The participant must perform implantation surgery in one of their patients under the direct supervision of an GBOI board of directors.
Successfully complete the Part 1 Written Examination
Completing the Part 2 Oral Examination.
