Membership Requirements

The Global College of Oral Implantologists (GCOI) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the field of Oral Implantology. To be eligible for membership in the GCOI, individuals must meet the following criteria:

  1. Dental Degree:
    Applicants must hold a dental degree from an accredited dental school or university.
  2. Clinical Experience:
    Applicants must have at least three years of clinical experience in the field of oral implantology. This experience can be gained through private practice, hospital dentistry, or academic dentistry.
  3. Continuing Education:
    Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to continuing education in the field of oral implantology. This can be demonstrated through attendance at conferences, workshops, or other educational events.
  4. Professional Affiliations:
    Applicants must be a member of a national or international dental association.
  5. Ethical Standing:
    Applicants must be in good ethical standing with the dental profession. This means that they have not been convicted of any ethical violations or malpractice.

How to Become a Member?

Submit a Membership Application:

  • Fill out the GCOI membership application form and email to mail@globalcoi.com
  • Include copies of your dental degree, license, and continuing education certificates.
  • Submit a letter of recommendation from a dental colleague or mentor.

Pay the Membership Fee:

  • Pay the GCOI Life membership fee: 250 Euros
  • The membership fee varies depending on your country and membership type.

How to maintain Membership?

Attend GCOI Educational Programs and Events:

  • GCOI members are encouraged to attend GCOI educational programs and events.
  • These programs and events offer opportunities to learn about the latest advances in implant dentistry and connect with other GCOI members.
  • To stay an active member of GCOI, you must either attend one of the courses affiliated to the organization or the GCOI Conference. If you don't take part in any of these programmes, within one year, your membership will cease to exist. On the other hand, you can keep your membership active by going to the next GCOI Conference.

Volunteer Your Time:

  • GCOI members are encouraged to volunteer their time to help advance the field of implant dentistry.
  • Volunteer opportunities may include serving on GCOI committees, teaching courses, or mentoring new dentists.
